Size: 25mm (1 inch) diameter: Circular shape. Hard enamel-type finish. Gold-plated back and gold-plated, safe, butterfly clutch-pin to rear. Presented inside a small poly-bag. The design, as used by the WSPU, features a woman scattering the seeds of woman suffrage, and the colours are those associated with the suffragette movement - purple, green and white. Blank interiors for your own message or for any occasion. The image is printed in vibrant lithographic colours and is taken from a suffragette poster by artist Emily J. Harding Andrews. (Originally published by the Artists' Suffrage League). Image (in brown, gold and cream sepia) shows an educated woman, wearing cap and gown, and standing inside locked gates with a convict and a "lunatic".
